stashd
Refund policy
Last updated 10 October 2026
The short version
- Not happy within 14 days of paying for a plan? Ask, and you get a full refund.
- Yearly renewals are refundable within 14 days of the renewal date too.
- Cancel any time; you keep your plan until the period you paid for ends.
Who handles refunds
Paid plans are sold by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, so refunds are issued by Paddle back to the card or account you paid with. You can ask either way:
- Reply to your Paddle receipt email, or find your order at paddle.net.
- Or send us a direct message on X at @getsolostackd. Don't post your email publicly; we'll ask for the details we need privately and sort it out with Paddle.
When you can get a refund
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| First payment for any plan, monthly or yearly | Full refund if you ask within 14 days. No questions asked. |
| Yearly plan renewal | Full refund if you ask within 14 days of the renewal date. |
| Monthly plan renewal | Not refunded, but you can cancel any time and keep the plan until the month ends. |
| Switching plans | Paddle credits or charges the difference for the rest of the period automatically. |
| We charged you by mistake, or stashd was unavailable for a long stretch | Tell us and we'll refund what's fair, outside these time limits if needed. |
Refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days to reach your account, depending on your bank. When a plan is refunded, your account moves to the Free plan; your library stays.
Your legal rights
If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a legal right to cancel a digital service within 14 days of buying it. Our 14-day refund above meets or goes beyond that right, so you don't lose anything by starting to use stashd straight away. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
