Terms of service
The short version
- stashd turns what you've saved into one sorted, searchable library. The Free plan is free; paid plans are billed by Paddle.
- Your library is yours. Posts you save still belong to the people who wrote them.
- Cancel any time; you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- Don't use stashd to break the law or other sites' rules, or to harm the service.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Solostack ("stashd", "we"). By creating an account or using stashd, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use stashd. You can reach us on X at @getsolostackd.
2. Your account
You need to be at least 13 to use stashd. Sign in with Google, an email link or X, and keep access to that method secure; you're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
3. What stashd does
stashd brings in posts you've saved on X, LinkedIn, Threads and other sources, sorts them with AI, and lets you search and revisit them. On the Free plan, saves come in through our browser extension when you click Sync. Paid plans can also sync X automatically through X's official API once you connect your X account.
Automatic sorting is done by AI and can be wrong. Titles, topics and summaries are a convenience, not a guarantee of what a post says.
4. Your content and other people's
You keep all rights to what you add (notes, topics, your stack page). You give us permission to store and process it only to run stashd for you, including sending it to the providers listed in our privacy policy.
Posts you save were written by other people and belong to them. stashd keeps a private copy in your library so you can find them again. Your stack page shows only the tools and posts you choose to feature. You're responsible for using saved content in line with the law and the rules of the site it came from.
5. Fair use
Don't use stashd to break the law, to collect other people's data, to attack or overload the service, to get around plan limits, or to access accounts or pages that aren't yours. The extension is for syncing your own saved pages. Plans described as "unlimited" are subject to fair use: up to 25,000 posts on Pro and 100,000 on Max. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law stops us.
6. Plans, billing and cancelling
Paid plans (Starter, Pro and Max) are sold by our reseller, Paddle.com, who is the merchant of record for all orders. Paddle handles payments, invoices, tax and customer service for billing. Prices are shown in US dollars; tax is added at checkout where it applies.
- Plans renew automatically every month or year until you cancel.
- Cancel any time from Settings (Manage billing). You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to Free.
- If you switch plans, Paddle works out the difference for the rest of the current period.
- If a payment fails, we'll ask you to update your card. If it isn't fixed, your account moves to Free. Your library stays, within Free's limits on new saves.
- If we change prices, we'll tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies.
Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
7. Third-party services
stashd relies on services we don't control, including X, LinkedIn, Threads, Google and Paddle. If they change their rules, pages or prices, some features may change or stop working. We'll do our best to keep things working and to tell you about changes that affect you.
8. Changes and availability
stashd is a young product and will change. We may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep it running, but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may need to take it down for maintenance.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings; this deletes your data as described in our privacy policy. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we ever shut stashd down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your library.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Otherwise, stashd is provided "as is". We're not responsible for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, for losses to a business, or for content written by other people. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 if that's more.
11. Changes to these terms
If we make important changes, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using stashd after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you can also bring a claim where you live and keep the protections of your local law.
